Osman Uras, Nilüfer Kandırmış / Muğla, July 27 () - The Bodrum Initiative for Peace, founded last week, gathered in front of the Tepecik Mosque, to protest the Suruç massacre and following tense clashes and protests in the country.
A group of 200 people marched towards the Bodrum Municipality Square wearing black ribbons on their collars. Banners read “Peace out-of-spite! At once!”, “We will not let you make a war”, while protesters chanted “No to war, peace at once” and “long live the brotherhood of people” slogans slamming the AKP (Justice and Development) government and the ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) terrorist organization.
