Çağla Erdinç / Çanakkale, Sep 4 () - In Ayvacık coast of Aegean province of Çanakkale, some 662 migrants of Syrian and Afghan origin were captured by Coast Guard and Gendarmerie teams within eight different operations, on Sep. 3.
Three migrants fell into the sea and faced death risk, having waited for hours in the waters. The migrants were hospilized to Küçükkuyu with diagnoses of hypothermia.
Having taken advantage of the weather conditions, despite the tragic migrant boat disaster off Aegean, migrants keep flocking to the beaches of Çanakkale in attempt to cross into Europe illegally. The 662 migrants were brought to the Ayvacık Removal Center for migrants.
