Ümit Kozan - Tahsin Güner / Ankara, Oct 13 () – Demonstrators from Turkey’s labor unions with professional organizations having gathered in front of the bomb-struck Ankara train station and riot police officers intervening the march had a brief clash, as security interventions were boosted particularly in big metropolitan cities.
Confederation of Public Sector Trades’ Unions (KESK), the Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Turkey (DİSK), the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) members protesting the Ankara attack were warned by police officers, not to block the streets. A brief clash occurred between the crowd and police teams. People marched to Sakarya neighbourhood without blocking road.
The group later held a sit-in protest where demonstrators chanted anti-government slogans. The group let ballons vanish into the sky, with names of people killed after the attack written on them. The crowd peacefully dispersed after the protest.
