İbrahim Laleli – Ali Gündoğan / Marmaris – Antalya, Nov 1 () - In Turkey’s touristic resort towns of Antalya and Marmaris, voters flocked to ballot boxes, then to the beaches and picnic sites.
In the capital of tourism, world renowned Konyaaltı beach was full of people, where locals and tourists enjoyed the sea and the sun, some of them enjoyed the scenery.
Meanwhile, some of the citizens preferred the picnic areas, after casting their votes.
As the heat reached 30 degrees in Marmaris, inhabitants went to polling stations early in the day, on their flip-flaps, then hit the beaches, parks and cafés to enjoy the weather.
As a well-known Turkish expression defines, residents of touristic towns “first cast the vote, then checked the depth”.
