Istanbul, Nov 4 ( ) – U.S. Embassy to Turkey announced the travel restriction to Turkey for the U.S. military personnel, following the Ankara massacre, was set to expire on Nov. 9.

“There are a number of inaccurate media reports in the Turkish press about U.S. military travel restrictions in relation to Turkey. In response to the October terrorist attack and violent demonstrations across Turkey, the U.S. European Command restricted travel by U.S. Department of Defense personnel and their families to Turkey only as a precaution in the period leading up to and immediately following the November 1 elections. These restrictions do not apply, however, to ordinary U.S. citizens and are due to expire on November 9, 2015” said the statement, released though the U.S. Embassy's Twitter account.
