Turan Kasap / Prishtina, Nov 3 () - University students protesting recent legislation favoring private over state-run universities have thrown eggs at a car carrying Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the University of Tirana, on Nov. 2.
Eight students have been questioned said the police.
Rama was about to leave the university after a meeting in one of the faculties with small businessmen, when the incident happened.
Students have been protesting a law adopted two months ago, which involve an increase in the modest tuition fees at state universities, on the other hand providing partial funding for private universities with taxpayer money.
Rama has declined to make comments over the incident.
