Öykü Altuntaş / Moscow, Nov 25 () - The downing of a Russian jet by Turkey was a "planned provocation" said Russia's foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, on Nov. 25.
"We have no intention to go to war with Turkey" also said Sergey Lavrov.
FM Lavrov stressed that relations with Ankara was to be re-considered by Moscow, over the shot down of Russian jet in Syria near Turkey’s border. On the other hand, Lavrov added “their attitude Turkish people has not changed”.
"We only have questions about the Turkish leadership" Lavrov added.
Lavrov did not give any details on the matter and the measures that can be taken by Russia, regarding the relations with Ankara.
In his statement, Lavrov said that advice to Russian citizens to abstain from visiting Turkey, announced yesterday, was based on “extremist threats in Turkey”.
