Antalya, Nov 24 () - World renowned veteran actress Kathleen Turner, who has marked the silver screen from 1980s, will visit Turkey for the 52nd edition of International Antalya Film Festival.
The 61-year-old Hollywood actress will attend an exclusive screening of 1989-made comedy-romance “The War of the Roses”, where she has co-starred with Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito.
The festival will offer cinema enthusiasts a workshop and a Q&A session with leadership and participation of the American star.
This will be the first visit of Turner to Turkey within the Antalya Film Festival.
The stage actress and director is best known for her roles in Body Eat (1981), Romancing the Stone (1984), and Prizzi's Honor (1985), while the latter two have earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress.
Turner was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress for "The War of the Roses”, the cult movie set to dazzle the international festival’s guests to gather in Antalya, from Nov. 29 to Dec. 6.
