Istanbul, July 14 () - Agricultural products producer prices fell by 3.39 percent in June, as 6-month rise still stands over 10 percent, accroding to the Producer Price Index of Agricultural Products (Agriculture PPI) data released by Turkstat on Tuesday.
Agriculture PPI rose by 10.03 percent in the first half of the year despite 3.39 percent fall in June, while the increase in agricultural producer prices stood at 10.02 percent on annual basis and at 11.65 percent on the twelve months moving averages basis.
Monthly change, agriculture and hunting products decreased by 3.29 percent, forestry products decreased by 5.71 percent and fishing decreased by 4.86 percent.
The highest monthly decrease was realized in perennial crops at 4.12 percent, for perennial crops by 6.86 percent and livestock and animal products increased by 1.65 percent.
The vegetables from sub - agriculture groups decreased by 10.31 percent, while there were increases for cereals except rice, leguminous crops and oil seeds with 1.93 percent, for oleaginous fruits by 0.65 percent, while rice prices fell by 4.80 percent.
